my psychiatrist once casually dropped "i put you on lithium because i needed to see if your diagnosis was correct." KEEP ASKING "Oh my god, what is this woman’s problem?" cuz baby, they got probs! sending you love, and thanks for sharing <3 you are a talent.

PS/ a mantra of mine is saying repeatedly in my head after most imagined scenarios "then you die"

Oh my gosh, this was great! I get it. I've always been terrified when good things happened! I've been expecting my husband to suddenly die for 34 years! He's still going! He's still great. The Upper Limit. That makes so much sense. Thank you for this!

I have that a lot of times too. That's when I remind myself that just cause I have the feeling doesn't mean a bad thing is actually going to happen, considering all the times I have had that feeling in the past.
